Client: Pure Storage

Description:
Sustainability is a growing priority across industries, yet IT’s role in reducing carbon footprints is often overlooked. This survey, conducted in partnership with Wakefield Research, captures insights from Sustainability Managers across the U.S., UK, France, and Germany, highlighting the urgency of corporate climate commitments, the challenges of meeting sustainability targets, and the critical role of IT infrastructure in driving progress.

My Role:
I wrote the survey report based on raw data, uncovering the most compelling insights and structuring the narrative to emphasize the urgency of action, IT’s overlooked role in sustainability, and how IT leaders can optimize data storage strategies. By weaving together statistics, industry context, and actionable recommendations, I shaped a report designed to engage sustainability and IT decision-makers.

Key Highlights:

  • Building a Narrative from Data – Identified the most striking statistics to frame sustainability as a business imperative, making complex data accessible and impactful.

  • Highlighting IT’s Role in Sustainability – Positioned IT infrastructure as a key factor in corporate climate strategies, reinforcing how modern data storage solutions can reduce emissions and energy waste.

  • Structuring for Executive Readability – Designed the copy of the report with a clear, compelling flow that speaks to IT and sustainability leaders, balancing insight-driven storytelling with actionable takeaways.
